| Pow is pretty much the most Amazing person in the world tonight.
His gig went so well!
The family and I headed out for Hollywood around 7pm and got there not too much after 8. No traffic - it was really nice. I had never been to hollywood before. I mean, never gotten out of the car. I have driven through it before just not explored.
I saw the stars for the very first time and walked the stairway to the kodak theatre where many well know people have walked before. I found it interesting that really we all can walk those very same steps. They are all the same, we all have access to them. They don't pack them up and put them away so only the stars can walk them. Although, to us ... those stiars can take a little different form. But in the end we all have access to them, we just have to use the gifts and talents that we have and we will get there.
Pow is a beautiful example of this. Look at this guy... He is playing in the heart of Hollywood on a busy night. He is using his gifts, lifting 'em up and is doing great! At least in my book.
Malari Barber was there tonight, as well as three other random calvin grads. It was great. I tell ya, if you are in LA anytime you must look Pow up and hear him.
So now that I have hyped Pow up and gotten the word out it is time for bed.

| I spoke with my principle in China today.
It was wonderful! Mr. Miller. and the Vice Principle was harder to hear, I didn't quite catch her name.
Wow. I got so excited!!!! This is going to be amazing!
They said that I will be the only art teacher there at least through october, maybe longer but... they are in the process of hiring another art teacher now.
Today was supposed to be volleyball night, it was cancelled due to an awards ceremony held in the gym. So I went with dad to drama practice instead. I read a little bit more for training and practiced more pinyin. I think I am getting fairly good at it. It will take lots of time though, something I am willing to put my time and effort into. Heck yeah!
I talked with one of the most amazing people in the world today... deborah lemmen! She is in seattle doing an internship there. Learning how to make coffeee. Really, that is a part of her job description, and I know she will/is gana be amazing at it!
So my parents dont really eat a lot of food. I quite frankly do. So there is a conflict of interest...if that is what you call it. Today I ate a frozen burrito thingy for lunch... mmm, next time I think i will run to get chinese across the street instead.
wellp. i am still working on contact information. I decided I know too many people. I am trying to compile everything in one word document so that I dont have to bring along any extra address books or such and just so that it is convienient.
O China, I am so excited.
Kyle is already in the bay area just waiting for monday when he begins his journey across the states for training. That will be me soon enough. Soon enough.
So I get to see Pow tomorrow.

Mmm. I like how there are still great people here in So Cal! Even when I don't feel like I know anyone here sometimes.
Fun and adventure are available to all of us no matter where we are, we just have to be willing to go out and find it... basically.

Hmmm. I am tired of being on the computer.
I am waiting for a phone call from china. I am not sure if they are going to call tonight or not. I have a feeling not. hopefully so though. Or i will just have to email my principle and set up another time.
